Happy Pride Month 2021❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤎
For mange er det en selvfølge å få elske den man vil, men det er dessverre ikke realiteten for alle. Mange har sterke meninger om hvem og hvordan enkelte andre skal elske. I forbindelse med Pride Month retter Afryea og Prisløs Vintage fokus mot dette gjennom et lite innblikk i livet og kjærligheten til Afryea’s kunstner- og aktivistpar Hedda og Theresa. En ubetinget og genuin kjærlighet - intet mer, intet mindre.
Bildene er et samarbeid mellom fotograf Dina Almakhrami, Prisløs og Afryea Collective. Plaggene er fra Prisløs, eller vintage-skatter fra jentenes egen garderobe, stylet i samarbeid med Afryea’s designer Emma Bergem. Creative director og edit av Theresa Elise og fotografi av Dina Almakhrami.
Dette deler jentene selv om sin kjærlighet:
“Several times per day, we stop, hug and look each other in the eyes to feel each others presence. Because that’s what lovers do - appreciate each others presence. We believe everyone deserves to feel the presence of their loved one without feeling shame and without being afraid.”
“Hvem er mannen i forholdet? Hvem er kvinnen? Liker dere gutter også? I såfall hva liker dere best? Og tror du at du kommer til å ende opp med en gutt eller ei jente?
Vi er to mennesker som elsker hverandre, hva mer trenger du egentlig å vite?”
Vi ønsker alle en fin feiring av Pride 2021 og står sammen i kampen for at alle skal få elske den de vil i fred.

For many people, being able to love who they want is a matter of course, sadly that is not the reality for all. Many people have strong opinions about who and how other people should love.
In celebration of Pride Month Afryea teamed up with Prisløs, a Norwegian vintage store, to give an insight into the life and love of Afryea´s own artist and activist couple, Hedda and Theresa. An unconditional and genuine love - Nothing more, nothing less.
The photo series is a collaboration between photographer Dina Almakhrami, Prisløs and Afryea Collective. The garments are a combination of Prisløs and vintage treasures from the girls´ own closets styled by Emma Bergem and Hedda Widahl in collaboration with creative director for and editor of the shoot, Theresa Elise.
This is what the girls shared about their love:

"Who is the man in the relationship? Wo is the woman? Do you like boys as well? If so, what do you prefer? And do you think you will end up with a man or a woman? We are two people who love each other, what else do you need to know?"
